About Live Oak Canopy
Slowly, with deep roots, and wide enough to shelter more than one thing at once. Here's the story behind the three trades we practice under one name.
Our story
Live Oak Canopy started from a simple observation: the same kind of person who wants cabinetry built right also wants their rental property managed right, and wants the technology behind both of those things to just work. Rather than hand a client off to three different vendors who don't talk to each other, we built one company that handles all three — with one point of contact from start to finish.
We take our name, and our color palette, from the lowcountry itself: the deep green of a live oak canopy, the sage of Spanish moss hanging in it, the tidal blue-green of a marsh creek, and the warm sand of a low-tide shoreline. It's the landscape we work in, and it's the feel we want the company to have — unhurried, sturdy, and a little bit shaded from the noise.
How the name maps to the work
Hands-on cabinetry and millwork craft, built on cut sheets, real cost estimates, and material knowledge.
The steady, day-to-day work of keeping a rental property running smoothly for owners and guests alike.
The technology that sits over everything else — networks, smart home systems, and support that keeps it all working.
What we value
An honest estimate and a realistic timeline beat an optimistic one every time. We'd rather tell you the truth up front.
Whether it's a cabinet install, a guest turnover, or a router that dropped offline, you're talking to the same people.
No stock-size shortcuts. We measure the actual room, the actual property, the actual network before we plan anything.
Cut sheets, service reports, and clear documentation — so you always know what was done and why.
We know the lowcountry's humidity, storms, and salt air, and we build and maintain for those conditions, not around them.
If something we built or set up isn't right, we come back and make it right. That's part of the job, not an extra.
A small, hands-on team. Live Oak Canopy is run by people who've spent time on both sides of the table — managing project delivery for larger organizations and doing the hands-on trade and technical work ourselves. That combination is why we can plan a project properly and also be the ones holding the level, running the cable, or greeting your guests at check-in.
We'd rather hear about it directly than have you guess which service line it falls under. Reach out and we'll sort out the rest.
